July 6, 1964: George, famished, gives a thumbs up to fans at the Hard Day’s Night premiere party at the Dorchester Hotel.
This, after having been told the food simply cannot be rolled out until Margaret and Snowdon have finished with their courtesies. George says to the princess, as delicately as he can,

“Your highness, we really are hungry and we can’t eat until you two go.”

George does not have time for your courtesies, Princess, if his time to be able to eat is at stake
