Paul McCartney trolling the interviewer
Today is the passing of a man I have gained so much respect for while I’ve studied him. A man with an aptitude in music. A man who was there for everybody. A man Jim could count on. A tall standing man who had enough charm to make anybody like him. These slender fingers will no longer touch the keyboard in a graceful manner. The glasses that complete the look will no longer be worn. The deep voice. The organist. Gone.
We mourn but we should not sulk.
He may be gone, but every little detail lives on.
Ray brought joy and art to musical culture. All good must end, as cheesy as it sounds. Why think about the bad? There is nothing that can or could’ve been done. We should come together in the name of the classic rock fandom, and celebrate the fucking awesome life Ray had. Because the music still lives on.
It will always live on.
